Begin your adventure at our Outdoor Resort DrinaMagicStay in Bastasi by 10 a.m. Board our jeeps for a one-hour ride to Sutjeska National Park, exploring Zelengora and Perućica Primeval Forest. Arrive at a high overlook by 11 a.m. for a fantastic panorama unlike any you’ve seen before, then continue the mountain drive.
- Tour the primeval forest, Europe’s only one, with stunning views of the Skakavac Waterfall (81 meters high).
- Ride to the Prijevor mountain crease, offering majestic vistas of Sutjeska National Park, Maglić, and more.
- Visit traditional mountain katuns at Prijevor.
- Hike from Prijevor to the glacial Trnovačko Lake under Maglić, a 5.5 km trail (elevations 1,668m to 1,357m to 1,517m) taking about 1.5 hours. Discover the heart-shaped lake, 3 km in volume with a 9-meter depth, known as a mountain eye for its pristine clarity. In July and August, swimming is possible (and in June for the brave!). Enjoy a snack break at Trnovačko Lake. Total hiking-trekking time is approximately 4 hours round-trip.
- Return to vehicles by 6 p.m.
- Arrive back at Outdoor Resort DrinaMagicStay in Bastasi by 7:30 p.m.
